The PFA Footballers’ Who’s Who is a comprehensive review of the skills, achievements and statistics of all those who played in the Barclaycard Premiership and Coca-Coca Football League Championship and Divisions One and Two during the 2006-07 season, now breathe. Here’s a few quotes to help me get my breath back and to bull up the book a little more…
“Excellent and informative” Sunday Times
“The best reference work of its kind” The Guardian
As you all know by now The PFA Who’s Who is the essential guide for all football fans, capable of settling any argument and providing accurate knowledge when needed. In all honesty it could sit on your shelf gathering dust for the first nine months of the season, thus proving a waste of money. However the time will come when you and your mates enter a conversation regarding the whereabouts of former Carlisle left-back Kevin Sandwith, just so you know and may I add it, sleep easy, he is currently plying his trade at Chester.
Can you see my point?
This book is the football bible, providing everything you need to know and improving your knowledge of the beautiful game ten-fold. Not only does it give you all the league craic, at the same time it takes into account each player’s performances in the FA Cup, Carling Cup, Football League Trophy and European competitions, where applicable.
Just in case you thought I’d forgot, full names, birthplaces/dates, international/club honours, heights/weights, career records, signing dates and transfer fees make this the most complete player information available.
Calm down I’m getting to the bit about it being a unique source of information for regular football followers at all levels. Giving up-to-date stats on managers, scouts, back-room staff, not to mention opposing players this book is the ideal companion for all lovers of the beautiful game.
