Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2008 tiger woods pga tour 2008
games review …

EA Sports returns for another year of great golfing on the console with the release of Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2008. This time around we received it in the Nintendo Wii format, which was a nice change to the usual PS2 XBOX 360 formats that we usually get, cheers EA.

Anyways this game is about confidence, it is everything. New features include all-new shot confidence where you can now track your performance on every single hole on the course. If your ever disappointed with your play feel free to analyse past performances to identify your strengths and weakness before every shot which will undoubtedly build your confidence and improve your game dramatically.

I think everyone will like this one, with the use of your Wii Remote, throw your mates off their game with four new taunting mechanisms. But be warned, when the tables are turned will you choke under the pressure? You could be happily coasting along, taking the piss and having a laugh at your mates expense, however one bad shot into the bunker or river could spell the end of your dominance and also kick-start the beginning of hurls of abuse aimed at you from your opponent.

No game would be complete without the obvious rise from Rookie to Pro which allows you to start as an inexperienced amateur before playing your way onto the PGA Tour. This then lets you take on new challenges in a bid to become the sport’s most dominant golfer.

This year’s game has the most Championship courses ever where you can also experience the new PGA Tour FedExCup Championship format by playing dreams rounds at Westchester Country Club, TPC Boston, Cog Hill and East Lake , not to mention 14 more.

Finally you have a choice of 23 Pro Golfers which include Tiger Woods (pretty obvious in my eyes) , Camilo Villegas and Vijay Singh, plus Annika Sorenstam, Cristie Kerr and Morgan Pressel to name a few.

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2008 excels the 2007 version by a long-shot and a guaranteed to be a winner with the public, regardless of their love of sport because it is a great game to play. And remember that’s coming from someone who hates golf.
