They don’t need an introduction but I can’t help giving them one. Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo are back in the form of TMNT: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
The turtle legends have found their home away from the underground sewers and it’s on the new Nintendo Wii. The game introduces a variety of new features to players with acrobatic rooftop jumps, scaling skyscrapers and diving down sewer pipes the norm in a mutant world of chaos and excitement.
Seen as so everyone has their favourite turtle (mine being Donatello after my fifth birthday cake was devoted to the purple wonder himself) you can play as any of the four and enjoy each turtle’s individual skill and moves.
The game follows the movie plot and includes all the key environments, characters and enemies. So you don’t need to worry because the rather delicious April O’Neill Channel Six News is back to seduce us from beyond the screen.
TMNT is based on the CG animated movie produced by Imagi Animation Studios and based on Mirage Studios' Foot Clan-kicking Turtle heroes. The game takes place in a New York City plagued by secretive villains and strange, otherworldly creatures. Faced with these perils, the Turtles will experience their most trying time as heroes and as a family, as Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo lose their focus and struggle to maintain their unity and ninja discipline.
As per usual it's up to Leonardo and the faithful father figure Splinter to reunite the band of brothers and save New York City from a monstrous evil that lurks around every corner. Players engage in over-the-top acrobatic navigation, collaborative combat and powerful fighting moves.
To cut a long story short you haven’t even been listening have you? If I’d of totally slated the game it wouldn’t have mattered, naturally you heard the words TMNT and instantly made your mind up that you where going to buy this game. So don’t let me stop you, let me know how you did.
Peace out.
